It's been two and a half years since I've posted to this. I guess Tumblr changes a lot of things, huh. Well let's see if I can't try to post some more regular updates again.

I'll try to keep this brief.

I hate torch-hounds. I really do. If I had my say, I wouldn't let art of them into that group I approve work for. If you don't know what those are, most of you probably watch Lett, and she's drawn a few.

I'm willing to accept fancharacters that are pony/dragon hybrids, mostly because Kirins are an actual mythological thing that the people in charge of the show could decide to make canon, much as with hippocampii for seaponies.

But Torch-hounds are hardly even ponies. They're more canid than equuid. It's even in the name. To me, it seems the person who came up with the idea just drew a sparkledog, added a few pony bits and called it an MLP fancharacter.

On that note, what, are they half Diamond Dog, or something? 'Cause I'm pretty sure that besides them, canids are shown to not be sentient creatures in the MLP-verse. I am legitimately wondering how these things could possibly exist in the established world.

I'm done, just needed to get that out.
